Fresno PD allowed all pre-1974 vehicles to cruise Fresno with police escort on Thursday July 22, 2004. It just qualified for the Guiness Book of Records. The police shut down most of the downtown area at 6 pm. 310 cars left downtown in a line 7 miles long. It was amazing. Everybody was overheating at the promised 30 mph but we actually did less than ten. I got to my parking spot when my radiator say it's all over. Only one of 19 Corvettes made it. There were street rods everywhere.
Next year it will be 600. Go for it guys!!
