demand for the 2005 Mustang

    Dearborn, Michigan. Ford Motor Company told dealers that the demand for the 2005 Mustang with the interior upgrade package (option 18G) was exceeding Ford's build capacity. Ford will not be able to keep with the surge in demand until at least December 2004.

    Ford has asked dealers to order more Mustangs equipped with the V6 engine and without the interior upgrade package to maintain plant mix levels.
