That looks awsome! I too don'tever recall seeing your car. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person this summer!
Beautiful. Absolutely Beautiful Duncan. If I were to build up a 94-95, I cant think of much I'd change. Hey, I'm not sure what that BS is in your windshield but if you need to do a subtle plate mount (if it's allowed), see what Mike (Low 5.0) did with his. I always liked it. BTW, it's really pretty where you're at.
Very clean. Very detailed. Very tasteful. :OT: did you notice a gain from the intake swap? i assume you have stock cam and heads.
Thanks guys. I really haven’t had the car on the road for two years. Last summer I had it out for 10 days fresh after the paint job. It feels great to drive it again. When I had the mirrors painted, I also should have had the taillights done – I think it would have cleaned up the rear a bit better. Stephane, I’m sure we’ll get together this summer. Have you heard of any progress on Aaron’s car? JT, I do recall how Mike has his plate behind the cobra bumper. I think I may try the same. Worst that would happen is I would get warned. The current ‘plate’ in my windshield is a 10 day permit sticker so that I can get an e-test. Fiveoho, you are correct, I do have stock heads and cam. The intake is a necessary first modification in my opinion. It increases power throughout the band, and also prevents the engine from ‘falling flat’ after 5500 rpm. With a proper CAI, and full exhaust, the car really breathes better.
Where did you get those rotors, Duncan? I just got the plain ones that came in the Ford Racing kit, but for some stupid reason the center hub portion is not coated, so I can see surface rust just around the wheel flange. Its bothering me, I'll have to paint it with something.
They are made by roto-tech. I bought them from summit on closeout. They no longer carry them, but I think Michael noted that Jegs is now. Also, I believe roto-tech is actually an Ontario based company, you can get them direct from the factory if you call. I think you might be able to find a zinc spraycan at crappy tire, it should keep the rust away.
thanks for the info duncan i have a TFS street heat at home collecting dust. maybe i should put it on? i have the CAI and full exhaust with headers. i just wasnt sure if it profitted any gains. and again, very sweet car
That looks mint!! I don't remember seeing yours before... Do your corner bulbs light up orange? I like how those look, but I couldn't find any that were clear until they lit up...
They have a thin coat of silver paint on them. They light up amber still, though in full sunlight they are hard to see from a distance when blinking.
