  1. This car has been a rolling restoration, and I have always been ashamed to open the hood at shows. Not any more.

Two weeks of hard work paid off.

  2. You did an excellent job on that engine bay. I did mine a couple of years ago.

  3. It looks really good, Congrats!

  4. I was trying to post this earlier.

  7. Thanks!!

  8. Thats awesome! I'm thinking of putting the Ram Air on it for the cool factor.

  9. Thanks!!

  10. That looks sweet! I can see you have done a lot of work painting everything.

  11. Thanks. It fits pretty well too and seals to hood nice. The tires will break loose well the doors open though.:D

  12. great job! looks factory fresh

  13. are your headers blue or is it some sort of optical illusion?

  14. Very nice job! Like one other poster; I'm curious about what look like robin's-egg-blue headers - powdercoating?

And - I just can't resist this - congratulations on winning the Piston Cup! You and Doc Hudson from "Cars", huh? :stick:

  15. I used VHT Header paint. I have had good luck with the stuff. It requires some prep work first. I sanded them all with emory cloth and some sanding discs, then just apply as per instructions. :flag:

  16. Pulling the engine is the best way to do the job right and you did do that. Job well done.

  17. Where did you get the air cleaner assembly. The small block ones seem to have an offset to them and I want to be sure to get the right one.

  18. Cj pony pants. I pick it up for $486 to my door. It came with everything except a air filter and wing nut.
