DNJ Brand Chrome Piston Rings from Rock Auto anyone ?

Rock Auto has DNJ Chrome Pistons Rings for about 1/2 the cost of others.

Just wondering if anyone used these for their 5.0 ?

Chrome piston rings were bypassed by technology almost 20 years ago..........nobody builds engines with chrome rings anymore. It is like asking a stereo shop to install an 8 track tape player in your car.

Not sure what came out of my 96 Explorer 5.0 motor. Looks pretty shiney. Chrome?
