My fuel pump went out and i ordered a new one (3S4Z-9H307-BC) and after i installed it my car idles fine but when i get above 3000rpms or try to go WOT the car falls flat on its face. I thought the pump was a drop in, i searched and found many people install it on a stock car but never reported afterward. I'm assuming the bigger pump is producing to much fuel and causing the car to be overloaded with fuel. Do i need a new tune? I have a sct tuner, can i just lower the fuel curve to make it work? Or maybe it works just fine from the stock computer i just have a bad pump and its going lean instead of rich, but i have no way to check. The car doesnt sound like a can of marbles and when i go WOT there is a huger stutter and just doesnt want to accelerate. The car doesnt knock even at WOT which is why im guessing the engine is being flooded with extra fuel. Thanks
