    Does that exist?

Any sort of navigation/stereo/that all has the features of a dashhawk/scanguage?

Basically an all in one unit...

And a carputer is not an option unfortunately.

    Thanks!

    Thanks LV.

According to the spec it comes with :VDD Gauge Selections 7 (Voltage, Clock, Direction, Slope, Acceleration, Side Acceleration, Angular Velocity)

This is all vehicle info that the NAV unit figures out on its own. Do you know of any units that have more car diagnostic type info like EGT, TPS, Temp Sensors, Tach... all of the typica stuff the dashhawk/scanguage units read? Things that would come from the cars computer...

    Thanks again.

    Thanks Saleen.

Thats the same unit that LV pointed out - the vehicle information on that is limited. Nothing on EGT, TPS, Temp Sensors, Tach, etc....

why is a carputer not an option?????

You can run one for not much more than $1,000 when done right.

    1992,

    Been there done that..

Its a big mess... Boot up time is a problem. That was in an old Lincoln.

This is for an 06 Tacoma that I really don't want to start cutting up, running wires back and forth, etc. A nice ready-made Pioneer unit that works without power invertors, home-made mounting kits, etc.. would be nice.

I plan to have this truck for a long long time so I'm not that concerned with price. I just want to see if this type of unit exists. If they don't exist then thats ok too...

Don't use a PC my friend make things easy on yourself!!!!

Buy a Mac Mini. It's small and compact then use the following.
Here is a premade inverter specifically for your mini it will also power your Monitor.

Not much running of wires at all.

Using a Mc Mini especially with front row your possibilities are endless. You can have wireless internet, any program you could ever want, plus all your music, movies, all at the touch of a couple buttons.
Then use a bluetooth Keybord and mouse. or get yourself a Touch screen Lilliput.

Done right you can have far more possibilities for not much more money than the Pioneer. Just a thought.
