double din...?

    Anyone do a double din in their sn-95?
    I was thinking about possibly relocation of the climate controls to the lower portion of the console and having a double din in the upper two slots... anyone do this yet? whats involved? is it just a simple relocation or is it something i wouldnt wanna waste my time doing? any help is appreciated in advance

    just get the bezel from a 01+ thats already double din. itll swap right in

    are you sure? the 94-00 have bezels that screw in, and the 01+ only snaps in place. cause if thats true i want a dark charcoal bezel from a 99-00. i dont have a double din head unit and i hate the way the adapter plate looks.

    they all snap in, im using a 99-01 that has the dual single din in my 02 that oridg had the single double din. there was a metal piece that the radio sat on that i had to slightly modify but its easy

    yeah i thought of that but it defeats the purpose because im not trying to have it "sunk" into the dash i want it up top

    Besides youd have the holes from the fog/tc/defroster buttons. I know you could buy the plugs but still dont look right to me :shrug:

    As to relocating the A/C controlls you can, ive done it once and hated the whole experience. You have to almost completly remake the bezel to work right and there is some minor fabrication of the dash bracket to fit.
