I got tired of putting up with Ford's under-engineering of the GT500 driveline and suspension. And, I got tired of fighting the whole Ford beauracry for warranty fixes. I solved my clutch chatter, driveline shudder, u-joint clunking, and rear suspension banging. I now have a Roush 427 - automatic. I miss the STRONG GT500 engine but the driving experience is much improved.

If you miss the strong GT500 motor, get a 2.57" pulley, CAI, and custom tune and you should be right around 430 hp at the wheels, which with the lighter weight of the Roush, should be right around where you were with the GT500. The Roush tune is pretty conservative. I will be getting a tune from JDM this spring.
