Ok, I have a Dual CD player in my Saturn, not sure if anyone is familiar with these or not, but you can push a button that says OPEN and the front plate slides down and theres a face behind it. Anyway, I put my cell phone in my little center thing and it pushed against my remote and started making the CD go in Fast Forward and then stopped and hit the volume button and turned the volume the whole way up and before I knew what was going on, the CD player shut completely off, and wont come back on. I checked the wires behind, nothing wrong there, theres a little 10amp fuse, it didn't blow, it's still good, and when u turn the key on the red power button comes on for a second and goes back out, and I can't get it back on. PLEASE HELP!!

it should have blown a fuse if there was a power overload.

all i can find is one little 10amp fuse directly in the back of the CD player, its fine..maybe it blew a fuse in the car though, like in my fusebox on the passenger side dash, should I check those?

Try leaving it disconnected for a while. While you're doing that, check for power and continuity in the radio harness from the dash. I know some crappy Recoton cd players have something like a duty cycle, that only resets with a lack of power.

there should be a very tiny reset button under the faceplate if it has a removeable faceplate.

other than that, Dual sucks. Theyre a pep-boys / best buy brand. thank god i saved my mom from them, she went into best buy and started getting real interested in the dual, i told her "ok, play with the buttons for a bit, get a feel for them. now come over here and play with the alpines or pioneers. thats quality you can feel, and thats just on the outside". she got the alpine thankfully.
