I put a Pioneer DVD player in the 03 snake yesterday. The unit interfaced with the speakers and factory amps with no problem. It sounds great. An improvement in sound over the stock unit.

Problem. I lost my dash.guage cluster lights obviously on the install. Can any audio experts on here give me some direction.

You lost them completely, or they are just dimmed?

The only thing I could think of would be to disconnect the dimmer wire coming from your stereo's wiring harness to your head unit. I know that my Pioneer DVD player has a built in dimmer adjuster and that could be interferring with your stock lighting. Just my .02.
