I recently had a problem with my stang, as it overheated & I found out that my fan was not working or turning on. I changed a bad MAXI fuse and ordered a new fan assembly. Come to find out, I still have no power at my connector to the fan.

What could be the problem? I waited for my engine to get a bit warm, but there is no signal getting through the connector (I tested it with a light tester). Even with the new assembly, and a new Maxi fuse, I can't get power. I have checked and there are no visual breaks in the wiring (runs inside the fender and firewall).

    Anyone have any suggestions?

I think the relay for the fan is in the "Constant Control relay module" (CCRM). It's in the right front fenderwell. You have to remove the plastic wheelwell liner to get at it. It has several relays, including the fuel pump, the A/C clutch, and the fan relays. They are not individually replacable, the entire device has to be replaced.

Before spending over a hundred bucks on the park, a good Haynes manual gives the wiring diagram so you can verify that the contacts in the relay are fried... If they are, you replace the whole thing.

If you aren't getting power then my guess is the CCRM also. PM me if you need one. I have a used one for cheap.
