Edlebrock or Trick Flow intake??

    the performer 5.0, or the trick flow street heat??? car just has headers, CAI, H-pipe, and MSD igition so far, goin to put 3:90 gears in it soon too,, what u think???

    Either one will perform just as good as the other. I would probably pick the performer.

    I have the TFS street. But before I give you my opinion. .. . What do you intend to do with this car in the next year or so, engine wise.?

    The reason I ask is, b/c a port job of your lower might be all you need. And its cheap..shoot you can do it with the online guides.

    my friend has the performer on his turbo set up and my friend has he heat on his with a sq trim and neaither had any complaints when i asked them. when i get upper and lower intake im goin with trick flow just becasue im gona get twisted wedge heads....

    I think the performer would give better low end. The TFS has huge lower ports, way too big for the stock of mild heads. I have the performer and it worked really well with my Thumper headed combo on my stock bottom end. Going with a 347 so it's going to be too small. I am thinking of going ahead and selling it, but not quite sure.

    Oh, now we're going 347 this week? :p If you are, say goodbye to that performer intake. If you do go 347, what are your goals for it? You should do a similar set up to me, but use a victor 5.0 intake :nice:
