has anyone done an egr delete? im getting new headers within 2 weeks so want to go ahead and get this done. i know what to do except for the elecronics. i blocked the vacuum one time and it threw a code so i know it will if i block it all off. mil illiminator? i dont know... Jake
Well, I've never done an egr delete or known anyone who has on a fuel injection system. The computer is designed to run with it intact. If you're concerned about power, no worries because it's designed not to be open during loaded engine conditions such as heavy or wide open throttle. Your cylinder temp goes up a bit without the egr and may increase the chances of preignition. If you're set on eliminating the egr system, I really wouldn't know how to deal with the electronics related to it. Anyone else have any ideas?
