Electric Exhaust Cut Outs?

    I am think about putting electric exhaust cut outs on my 96 Cobra. Has anyone done it? How does it sound and is it worth the money?

    They're cool in a retro sort of way and on a non-FI car may even give you a couple extra ponies. Be careful where you mount them though... I know a few guys who have them and the solenoids scrape on bumps. Unless you custom design your exhaust system so the cutouts are tucked up and out of the way you may have the same problem. Doubly so if you're already lowered.
