I think ill fail emmitions horribly... SO i was thinking... y dont i throw my stock H back on and throw some GTP in the tank and disconnect the spout... and go to a private place and pay $75 to get my car inspected... Im due to get inspected in october... so i dont think i can go to the state run places... do you think this would be wise or not???

Find somebody that will work with you and throw another car on the machine so it passes for you. If you're gonna pay the guy extra why would you waste time putting the stock H back on?

Simple. Are there other counties in NJ that don't require emissions?

    This is what I did.

    - Went to the dmv
    - re-registered my car in a county that doesn't require emissions (down at Virginia Tech, so I'm not entirely lying :))
    - Paid 50 bucks for the whole thing, and I never have to worry about emissions ever again. Unless that county decides to change their laws, which I highly doubt.

You have a catted H-pipe. I don't see why you would fail emissions.

I just put my stock H on for emissions and I pass with flying colors...like I don't even throw 1/3 of the allowed toxins.
