Engine rebuild

    whats the rough cost on an engine rebuild

    It sounds like i blew a rod, bearings and need a new crank???

    Depends on how much damage it did as to how much youll need to replace.

    Could have killed the cylinder walls, or damaged the block. If it wasnt bad then you will still need to bore the block over to clean it up, meaning at least new pistons aswell.

    1+ that is what id the easiest thing to do.

    I did rebuild my own and it was pretty easy. But if you don't have the mechanical ability don't bother. I ended up saving about $1800.
