So I have been reading almost evey thread I can about X-pipe cat's or No cat's so let me go ahead, and aplogize for staring another thread, but let me see if I get this straight.

X-pipe Increase HP, and Torgue with High Flow cat's not really sure how much but overall I see that it increases upwards of 8 HP or so. If I go with the Off road version I increase even more HP but I lose torque because of lack of cat's. and they or also louder with out them.

Now the question I have is will I loose more torque than stock H-pipe if I go with the off road X-pipe? (I live in florida so there no emissions)Also I love the sound of the X-pipe that is why I am going with it.

So I take no one knows the answer to if there is torque lost between stock H pipe and off road X pipe? And whether the increase horsepower will make the loss to torque not even noticeable?

X pipe sounds like ass with chambered mufflers. You need straight thru to use an x pipe.

I didnt notice a loss in tq between the stock h and my off road h or off road x. If you get a good tune, you will gain HP/TQ.

Good I was reading so many different threads. that it seemed that people were saying there was an actual loss of torque when using a off road X-pipe from the stock H.

But of course an increase of Horse Power so I wanted to see if I could get some kind of clarification.

My car sounds outrageous, and I love the O/R X-pipe. Definitely a good mod.

O/R X usually yields the most power gain of all the pipes followed by O/R H, high flow catted X, high low catted H and then OEM catted H.
