My factory alarm on my 98 Cobra started going off by itself today and when I hit the panic button it wouldn't disable. The keyless FOB batteries are good because the door lock/unlock function works fine. I ended up popping the hood and removing high current fuses until she shut up. When I put all the fuses in it was back to normal. During the honking and flashing another mustang guy came over and said his 96 does the same thing even when he is driving. Anyone else have this happen? What is the fix?
