I am in the process of trying to get all the supporting parts necessary to install a new system in my car. The system comprises of a Kenwood monitor, two JL audio amps; a 1000/1 and 450/4, two JL 12W6v2 subs and Jl component speakers. I presently have a 120 amp alternator and was wondering if I need to look at adding Farad Digital Capacitors to the system?

theres a ongoing controversy if they actually work or not. I have used them and also ran dual batteries with better results then using a cap alone

I'm using a 1frd Cap with a 1k watt amp works great, before the cap my idle would fluctuate with the bass, now it and my lights stay the same

How does the dual battery work as far as wiring it into the system?

I have the batteries wires to a isolator so they both charge with the engine running but only uses one with the key off so i always have a charged battery to start the car.
