yesterday there was a local show at a dealer that had a portable dyno setup free for any fords that was setup by our local board owner and the dealership.

Decided to go and made a half arsed pull for free.

    I put down

    252hp and 285trq....

On the low side but it was 100*, 43% humidity, with a DA of 3,800-4,000ft (our local track is like 650-700ft). With little to no timing at WOT (just have it coming in sooner at this point with maybe 30* total), no changes to the A/F as I am waiting for my W/B to arrive, and the stock catted H pipe on the car.

Got off the dyno and realized my home made CAI had also came loose and a "slit" area about 1-1.5in long was letting air in un-meterd'. I dont know when it came loose but it was dur. the pull. I am going to make a new one as it came off on the way home as well.

at 4k it really started to slow its power making down I think its from mostly the heat, the hpipe and maybe the CAI...and my MSD box went out a few weeks ago as well. I will toss up an excel in a bit to show what I am talking about.

Just glad to finaly be in the ball park and not a bad baseline for basicly no WOT tuning at this point in the worst weather conditions. REALLY GLAD as the bugs look to be sorted out for the most part, I cannot wait to start WOT tuning this bugger.

My final goal is 275-290-ish (of course in cooler/better weather)...so I am really not looking for much more.

Preaty nice turnout...were are you at in Florissant? I am in Florissant. A few turbo cars and some SHARP S197's.

There was a 96 cobra that had put down 275 before a tune and put down 255 yesterday after a tune (diff. dynos). To give an idea how hot and nasty it was.

I am just outside of old town...on the other side of lindb.

After spending the day in the heat yesterday...not going to the Mcdonall park either.

I did stop go out after the show yesterday on the way home and look at some fusions...test drove one as well.

That is one thing I never got about going to florida...why drive 12hr or so to be in the same weather you just left ****ing about....oh yeah and the ociean...another great reason to not go.
