First mod and introduction to the S-197 forums (pics)

First off, hello all. I am new to the S-197 side of the forums. My name is Mike and I live in Manchester NH. My previous car was a 94 mustang gt. I owned it for 10 years and I finally sold it.

Exactly one week ago I bought my bone stock 2005 Sonic Blue Mustang GT Convertible with black leather and a black top and a manual tranny.

I've been doing my research on here and I just bought the FRPP/Borla Axle back system as my first mod. part# M-5230-5GT

I just wanted to say hello, and keep up the good topics!!!!!:SNSign:

Hey Mike ! welcome to the S-197 family, as I have no doubt that you'll be enjoying your 05 sonic blue GT, for many years to come.

Just as the others said, once you get bit by the modding bug, you'll become addicted for life. In which we will definitely help you in parting with your hard earned money lol. :nice:

Can't beat that Sonic Blue with any other color IMO. It's way awesome! The Vista is one shade darker. Keep it polished not waxed. :) There are only 9094 Sonic Blue 05's.

Nice car and very low mileage for a 3 year old car.

Do you know how many GT convertibles that had sonic blue?

I'm stuck! I am trying to learn about these car using the search function and there is so much information. I am really torn right now between if i want to spend the money on a supercharger or buy lots of other bolt ons (CAI, XC3 tune, LCAs, UCAs, driveshaft, pullies, CMDPs,) and some exterior mods like painted stripes and a hood.

Yeah, I joined when I got my 97 cobra (deadly97snake). I dont post much on here because the Army has sent me overseas on three different occations. I just got back from Iraq three weeks ago! I do use the search function all the time when I have a question, so I dont have many posts.

I'll be the first to say your '94 was beautiful! I woulda had a tough time selling that. The S197 is way nice though, you'll love it.

Thank you. It was hard to sell it. What made it easier was my brother was the one to buy it, so the car stays in the family. :nice:

There is a SB vert in our Stang club and looks really nice:nice:
I can easily see the difference between that and my VB when they are side by side.
