anyone else have flatened exhaust pipes? right there behind the axle, just before the mufflers? i had some service work done to my car, where the dealer damaged my mufflers and over the axle pipes. they finally got me the replacements, which i demanded i replace myself due to thier incompetence. i am doing it now in my driveway. i noticed that it is flattened to clear the suspension components. when they were ordering the pipes, they need to know the production date for some reason. could this be it? it seems that a flattened pipe is not a true mandrel bend as is needed. what do you think, put them on, or try to get new ones? it is hard to see in the pic, but it is flat. on the stock ones, the drivers side is slightly flat, and the passenger side is ok, no flat spots.
LOL...where were you guys when everyone was asking me why Magnaflow felt a full catback was needed....as an option to the axle backs we build- we were able to get rid of that flat spot and 4 of the bends-
I just feel the need to mention that the first 9 second '05 has a stock exhaust all the way to the tips.
