flowmaster question

    i think i am eaither gonna get the 40 series, or super 44 serries flowmasters. but what muffler comes on the American thunders?? because on the website it has a graph thing and it says the American thunder are like half as loud as the super 44's and 40's

    I think the American Thunder Flowmasters are a different design then the 40 and 44s. I think it was done because of Ford moving the mufflers to the rear caused older series mufflers to sound bad on the new GTs. I have the American Thunder Flows and they sound good. A little louder then stock but not that loud.

    The guy at the muffler shop that installed mine said they were one of either the 40 or 44 series(I can't recall which he said, but he did say it was an older series). I love my American Thunder Series...esp since adding the O/R H...then it got even louder and the floorboard now vibrates:drool:
