There's really no cajun places around me. There's a Razoo's (if you know what that is). They have great food .... especially the gator tail chips.

As far as sweet tea ..... I have a "tea maker". Just pour in 8 cups of water, put 3 or 4 tea bags in (large ones), and press the button. When finished brewing, add water until you have 1 gallon total. Stir in sugar. Use ice for immediate consumption. Refrigerate. I put 1 3/4 cups in mine ..... but I know others that put over 2 cups. Nothin' like sweet tea. Most people use diablo's method. You can also use a coffee pot.

sweet tea eh? Ive never heard it called that before! Up here we go by ice tea... **** freaks me out anyways for it being known (along with other things) to cause kidney stones.

Buy some Tony Chachere's on line.

Thats the real stuff. They had that in our HS cafeteria and it made everything better. You might want to get one of the regular and one of the no salt, becasue it does have alot of salt in it.

Speaking of good food, I just got back from the chow hall, opened my pint of milk, took a swig to discover that I was drinking the clear liquid from a very rotten pint of milk....:puke: :puke: :puke:

Hey man .... do you guys have Texas Pete on every table? Seems like every Army installation has it. It's made here close to me. If they had Chalula, that would be better. When I eat in a chow hall, I put hot sauce on everything, lol.

Tabasco is good too, but they are both used for different things. But Tonys can be used on anything,

To me, it's "Icetea" but I had to clarify SWEET since I knew there were many persons of Yankee descent on this board :nonono: :D

I told my Yankee friends the other day I was drinking gallons of tea, and they all went  <puke> cause they only sweet tea they've tasted was sweetened with the packets on the table... which everybody knows DOESN'T WORK.

Sometimes when I order tea I have to end up dumping in some Sweet'n'Low anyway. Some people just don't have the touch I guess.
