Yeah but those insurance policies won't cover you in an on-track accident. They're really meant to insure against damage to the race car while it's in storage or transit, or in the event of theft.

Yeah, the one I posted won't, but there are a few of them that will. I completely forgot that the one I posted excluded going down the track.

You obviously aren't around many black people. That isn't a haircut. That's a Do-Rag. Unless you are talking about the mohawk

And he was at the track. Ford wont pay for ****.

Seems weird that any "drag racing" insurance doesn't cover it during the actual race. From what I've seen, most policies only exclude damage during the actual competition - not while waiting for a competition. AKA if someone rear ends you while you are waiting your turn, its typically covered.

The interesting thing I just noticed: My Allstate policy doesn't make a single mention of excluding damage during competitions or exhibitions of speed like my old policy in MA did. I'm sure there is some way that they would deny coverage, but it made no mention of racing events (or only use on public roads) in the policy.

My original policy with Country Companies also did not mention any exclusion of coverage for racing. But, when I got my last renewal, there was an entire page on "policy changes" that indicate I am not covered for racing, track events, demonstrations, competitions…….
