i was searching for a picture and came across this one. i looked at the properties and i saved it on october 2, 2002. it's amazing how people were griping about the prices then. i'd kill for it be 1.99 much less 1.59 for regular.

I'd love it to be 1.59. I think it was 1.89 when I started driving, or started paying attention to the price. One of the two anyways.

Gas companied view of raising the prices

Hey, one of out plants is going to be shut down, lets raise the prises so people won't go out and buy as much gas.

People seel the price go up .10 and freak out, buying all of the gas they can until all the stations are empty

Gas company again: Well that was plesently unexpected. Lets raise the prices some more so we can have a longer vacation this year.

I remember when I first got my license and was driving my parents explorer gas was $.89 a gallon. As soon as I got my own car and started paying for my own gas it jumped up to the $1.29 range. :fuss:
