Anyone have the FR500 Steering Wheel, I hear that its thicker than the cobra sterring wheel, I have a 98 cobra with black leather sterring wheel that has some sun damage, I want this fr500 sterring wheel but was not wanting a sterring wheel that looks too thick for the car

Yeah, that looks good, I think that will look good in my 98 cobra with solid black interior

How is it a 99+ piece. The 96+ are nearly identical as far as interiors. I cant see them changing anything on the steering wheel since they look identical. Has anyone removed a 96-98 GT wheel to verify this??

i have one on my 98 GT. for whatever reason it's listed as a 99+ piece. but the thing fits perfectly in my 98, probably will in any 94-98 as well i bet.

Cool, Is that exact wheel only available in Gray, because I would need something nice in a Black.

as you see in the picture, the wheel is actually black. and that's the only color it comes in. personally i think it contrasts nicely with my gray interior.

i have it in my 96, and it comes in every color as long as that color is BLACK. and i have the tan interior and goes well with the black inserts in my new seats....and very comfortable in your hands....a worthwhile upgrade for sure.
