freeze plugs

    whats the easiest way (tecnique) to take them out and replace? thanks in advance! what causes them to leak?

    Poke a hole in one side and it should either twist in the hole or it will puncture and then you can grab it.

    Most likely rust around the hole or rust through the plug makes it leak.

    to install a new one find a socket that is the same size and drive it in with a hammer. Which one is it BTW?

    the middle one, thats exactly what i did now its all good to go
