We recently purchased a 2004 Competition Orange Mustang Convertible (base model). We noticed it had a place in the front bumper for a license plate but when we inquired with the parts department, we were told they did not carry any mounting brackets or frames for the 2004 base model. Has anyone out there encounted the same problem? Any suggestions on who might carry one for our year/model? We have searched the net with no luck. Thanks in advance for the help!

they don't carry them because they're not necessary/not used to mount front license plates. Use self tapping screws......there are already dimples in teh front bumper where you need to put the screws
