My front seats dont lock, what I mean is that I don't have to pull/push on anything to make them incline toward the front..

    is it normal?

I will be replacing my seat with racing seats soon. Do you want to buy the lever parts?

Time to look for new seats. That is not safe.

I was wondering the same thing. Neither of mine latch either.

Surely not a plus in an accident...heh

sounds like the latch spring is broken or the latch mechanism is frozen.

If you "cared" much, you could pull out your seat and take it all apart to get at the latch mechanism and try to repair it but it's pretty damn hard to fix it once it freezes. It's put together with a huge rivet type thing but you can drill that out and put it back together with a metal sleeve and a bolt with lock washer.

you can get springs from ace hardware.

Head to a wrecker, pull off a set from another fox. Or - you can do what I did, and install a set of recaros from a BMW.

No, its not normal. Pull the seat and look at the mechanism. It may just be the adjuster handle, it has a pretty fragile linkage.

Should be easy to get another set of seat tracks.
