hey guys, today i finished up my motor and put it all together, and it got me thinking. they guy i bought it from, had an ac delete bracket fabbed up, and mounted the tensioner there, but the tensioner doesn't do jack-****, it is solid as a rock. the pulley still goes around fine, but there is no spring action at all. the belt is loose right now, and squeels like crazy. i've been through 3 belt in the 4-5K miles i put on her. what do u think, should i get a tighter belt, or do i need a new tensioner. here's a pic of the setup. Very nice. Can you take a close up of your EGR Vac lines and where they connect to. I think my lines are wrong. Thanks

get an a/c delete kit so that it will move the ps pump up there. then you can move or prob get a new tensioner, and put it back in the factory location.
