fuel injection to carburetion

    i have an 89 mustang thats all stock with bbk shorty headers i was wondering if anyone knew what kind of horsepower increases if any i would get switching over to an edelbrock intake and carb?

    You'd be giving up years of technical innovation and advancement :shrug:

    Just upgrade the EFI intake components you have. Most people will tell you it costs more to switch to carb (consider the fuel system changes you'd have to make), and its also commonly accepted that the EFI components produce more torque, because of longer tuned runner lengths.

    dont put a carb on there, you'll never be able to get over 1500 bux for the car if you do.

    i dont agree that you wont be able to get more then 1500 bucks but i would not switch to carb unless you pretty much had too.you will get power gains when switching but only because you can easily tune the carb for others mods and such.fuel injected car would produce just as much if not more power but you would need a tune to get the potential out of the car.
