Fuel pump size

I have the following mods listed below but I never changed my fuel pump. Every now and then when I try to start my car it will not start but on the second attempt it will fire up. I already replace the fuel filter so my guess is its the fuel pump or regulators. If you think its the pump what size pump should I go with I'm planning on upgrading to a cam real soon.

I had a bad high rpm lean condition on my stang a while back, so i just put in a Walboro 255lph fuel pump. It works great. It wasnt over kill, your car only gets as much fuel as the injectors allow. So i figured why not give myself room to grow.

I am running a 155lph and am having no problem with all my mods but Whitedevil is right leave your self room for fuure mods .

255lph is good your fp reg. will only allow as much fuel as YOU want it to (if you have an adjustable one). Even if you don't have an adjustable on it will however raise your fp ever so slightly maybe 2 or 3 psi because of the added pressure but no big deal.
