Will a gauge cluster from a 75 work in a 78? Any changes?

Everything I know says they will fit. The only things I can think might be a problem would be the circuit board on the back, you might wanna change that just to be safe. Oh, and Make sure you have the same speedometer 85 or 120 mph, Unless you want to change the speedo gear in the trans.

Not too tough a project at all, and Im sure that the cluster is universal in all IIs.

One thing I ran into when changing from a 85mph to a 120mph is that there is a little adaptor on the back of the tack that I had to replace on the new one with my old one. I did not know about the Speedo gear... Chalk it up to one more thing I have to buy :)

Me too, 85-120 direct swap speedo only left the rest of the cluster alone.
