gauge hook up help

    i have a vaccume gauge.. and i need to find where to hook it up under the hood to check for leaks.. do u know where i can hook it up at? thanks

    Just like so...Tap into the FPR line with a Tee.

    Edit....I thought you were running a gage feed line.... :bang: I usually just undo the FPR for a moment as use that feed....

    A tee on a vac-port-line off the vac-tree also works.

    If using a Mitivac, one can undo both ends of a hose and plug one end and pull vac on the other end and see if it holds pressure.

    Just disconnect the line off of the FPR, and leave it off. Connect the tester to the vacuum tree where the FPR line was and see what you have.
