Ok so Im gonna buy Pro3i LCAs. 1. What kind should I get 2. Should I dish out the extra $$ for the uppers too? Thanks -Nick
If you only car about handling well in a straight line, then yes. If not, leave the stock uppers alone.
Get the uppers! With the uppers you will have no side to side slosh and feel alot more sure footed! Plus you can take off the Quad shocks with out any issues! "ED"
And regardless of whether you add uppers, if you do lowers you can remove the quad shocks. I stayed away from uppers mostly because it's a PITA to swap em...nothing like the lowers and this is where most of your gain will be anyway.
No do not get uppers. The stockers are fine unless you have a need to adjust pinion angle and need adjustable uppers. Also, the UCAs are a PITA just say no to them...
You can only remove the lowers if you're using a properly designed LCA. Not all qualify as "properly designed."
Well, yeah, but if you pay sh1t, you get sh1t... Hopefully that's elementary to most readers...don't buy crap, especially suspension related (that's the part that keeps you on the road!).
The Pro3 uppers use the same Patent Pending 3 piece Poly-Ball bushing as they use on the lowers. They allow for the rear to articulate but still control the fore and aft movement.
what's going on in here? You don't really need them, if you were to replace what you have for the UCA's you are better off getting a Tri-Link insted for overall usability and better response -tomustang
okay seriously now: for people who need to adjust pinion angle, which brand should we get, cuz everyone who lowered their car would be at this point lol... a pm would suffice
