the floor finaly made it in. started by bolting a export brace and monty carlo bar in place,the export brace fit with no modifications at all. i used an origional that i keep on hand ,never seen a 64-66 line up that easily.took the floor out in pieces ,this thing had spot welds the sise of dimes. i dont like to use an air chisel but that was the only way it was comming out .i can usualy do a floor in one day but it took all day just remove the old floor. tomarrow i guess i will have to fire up leroi again and sand blast the surounding areas ,then grind the bits of flashing left over from the spot welds and epoxy up inside the frame rails and all the edges. have a couple toe board patches then the floor can go in. the rear under seat area looked like it was badly rusted but it is just surface rust so i wont need any patches there i hope
