Guy here has a 93 4 cyl and i might trade him my set of almost perfect pony wheels and tires for the motor only. The motor he claims only has like 30xxx original miles. Do you think i should do it? peace

no way. a decent set of treads by themselves are worth more than an engine. I have seen decent ponies sell for more than I paid for my entiore car. keep the rims and offer him $150 for the engine.

If the wheels have good tires you could get around $400 for them. I paid $200 for mine with tires that needed to be replaced.

You should easily go twice that with proper maintenence. That would mean another 14+ years given the car's age and mileage.

In that case, suggest that he ties the engine to himself and jumps into deep water.....

Some pretty nasty curbrash, but you can always replace the center caps anyways.
