hey guys i was looking for a really good durable wax for the winter months. my car wont we garaged and will most likely be driven on salty roads. Over on svtperformance ive seen people say collonite super double coat or 845. What do you guys think? Ive been using megs gold class wax on my white car and it seems pretty good. Mothers Reflections Syntwax(sp) look for a paint sealant not a carnuba wax. Paint sealants last 4-6 months compared to quality waxs that last for 3-4 month. Granted these only last long on a well prepped paint surface, so clean the paint real well.

:stupid: That's what I've heard. I'm going to buy some paint sealant tomorow and wash and "seal" the stang.

Collinite waxes are probably the longest lasting waxes out there. I have their insulator wax on my vehicles for the upcoming snow season. The insulator wax is a liquid that gets wiped on then let haze over before wiping off. The Paste waxes are also good like 476S double coat.
