    Mexican Block

Someone told me that Mexican Blocks have more Nickel in the metal and that makes it stronger. I have no idea if that is true or not.

It's a block that despite having an amazing amount of natural resources, beautiful tourist friendly country, is farm-able, still is a third world block. The block wants to come to America and will do anything it can to find its way into a domestic V8. The Mexican block will "do the jobs that standard American blocks won't do." Make sure you get a legal Mexican block as we don't want undocumented Mexican blocks running around taking away the benefits that American blocks deserve.

It has thicker mains, caps, and sidewalls. They weigh about 8 pounds more then blocks created in America.

I know they have a little boss like thing that sticks out on the front of the block beside the timing cover on the drivers side (i think) And yes, they have a higher nickel content. Not really worth messing with now with all the other options you have such as dart blocks etc...
