Here's a quick shot before putting her back in her hole.

    http://www.justagt2.com/wheels2 for the rest.

These wheels are heavy! Steering is heavier, braking takes more effort and handling feels muddy. So I'm going to have my stockers powder coated and the lip polished like the replicas.

The stock wheels are 17# front and 21# rear. These are 24# front and 31# rear. ugh.

But still looks good tho. :D

    What'chall been up to?

    Looks sick man.

That sure is a huge increase in weight  , aside from rotational mass too. Look sick though!!!

But you're still a sellout :nice:

Your new wheels look sweet Scott keep them for sure!
    :nice:
The black wheel really contrasts your yellow paint looks
    very tasteful.
Nothing much just looking for a few things to do with my
    SN95.

But a sellout with style. ;)

I kept the stock tires since they had enough tread on them to wait a few paychecks for replacements.

And the stockers will look just like this when completed.

It's like comparing apples to oranges. The Vette handles incredibly, has torque whenever you want it, and fit anf finish are top notch. That and I can go 100mph and get 19mpg. Or slow it down to 75mph and get 30mpg. It's incredible.

Very happy. But keep in mind, my heart is still with Mustangs. Everytime I see a modified GT or Cobra drive by I ALWAYS look to see what they've done to it. And everytime I see a yellow GT with loud exhaust I get a little sad, I do miss her. :(

my chrome cobra wheels and my 04 wheels and get 1 set of DD black something ftw

yeah man I hear that. Maybe some day you will pick up another yellow stang, build it up as a tribute to the original. I think of it almost like your mustang took a bullet for you - it died so you could live...

If I ever do it again, I will go a totally different route. Make a lightweight street fighter. Strip all non-essential stuff....radio, ABS, back seat, etc....go with some lightweight wheels, and a monster powerplant.
