got the windows tinted...now they squeek

Just got 20% tint on my side windows, it looks amazing but the film squeeks whenever I roll my windows down and it's incredibly obnoxious. Any ideas on how to remedy that? Already tried cleaning the insides and lubricating them with no success.

Try Rain-X (great stuff!) or Gummi-Pfledge from your local BMW dealer. The BMW stuff is a rubber/weatherstripping lube/protectant. Rain-X is a silicone-based liquid that helps to repel water on glass. Rain-X applied (properly) to the windshield is awesome, imho.

Mine did that for the first few weeks. Just when I was getting annoyed enough to do something about it, it stopped and hasn't done it since.

I've always heard that you should wait to roll the windows up or down for a few days afterwards. Like previously said, all you need is some lube. That's what she said.
