 I am considering putting the GT-500 rims on my 08' GT (currently 18"), question is, direct bolt on? Will the GT lug nuts fit the GT-500 rims? I know the weight on the GT-500 rims are more than the stock 18" GT rims, but I like the GT-500 rim style. Side question, does the deep dish American Muscle Bullitt rims have the same offset?

    - direct bolt on? - Yup

    - Will the GT lug nuts fit the GT-500 rims? - Yup

    - weight on the GT-500 rims are more than the stock 18" GT rims - I went from the OEM 17's and it wasn't too bad.

    - does the deep dish American Muscle Bullitt rims have the same offset? - no clue, but I've heard/read bad things about AM wheels.

+1 on the AM wheel quality, or lack there of. They're cheap for a reason. And don't worry about the extra weight, the profile and extra width will more than make up for the weight performance wise.

really? what have you heard bad about American Muscle wheels? I've always thought they were the same wheels you'd buy at CJ Pony Parts, or Late Model Restoration, etc.

the wheels will bolt right up. are you putting the tires from your stock 18s on or going with a bigger tire because of the bigger rim?

American Muscle has quite a few problems with the quality control on wheels that go out to the customer. There have been more than a few cases that will steer myself clear from ever buying from them. American Muscle usually isn't any help when it comes to problems with their wheels, either. As far as problems, there have been out of round wheels to problems with finishes. Although, American Muscle seems to be fine about everything else they sell.
