Are my eyeballs fooling me, or does my new 07 GT have a factory H-pipe exhaust? Heck, all I need is new mufflers then.

Yes it does. Although it does flow very well for a catted factory exhaust, you don't get much sound out of it. I went with the Pypes O/R H and OMG did it change the way the Flows growl/scream!!!!! I can feel the exhaust rumble beneath my feet:drool:For awhile I had the O/R H and stock mufflers which didn't sound bad either.

I was wondering if there would be a sound difference, but it looks like the catalytic converters are welded to the pipe. I think I'll leave well enough alone.
    Thanks for the input.

Is there a possibility of running that o/r h and not having the check engine light come on?

Yes you can install mil extensions for your 02 sensors, or disbale the rear o2 sensors with a handheld tuner.

    +1
Bamachips and Brenspeed ship their tuners with the rear O2 sensors turned off.

The factory H-pipe crossover is very large and short, I doubt we'd see much gain from an aftermarket H-pipe unless they get rid of the cats.
