I am using the DiabloSport Predator. Haven't used any others but I like my predator a lot. It very easy to use and can change your gear ration, wheel/ tire size, and more very easily. Got mine off Craigslist for $150.... Beats the heck out of spending $400 for a new one!

4.10's huh... let me know how your gas mileage is with those bad boys... I have been trying to decide if I want 3.73, 3.90, or 4.10 myself. I'm thinkin i will probably end up with 3.73 because I daily drive this and with premium @ $3.65 a gallon I dont want to go broke because of gas mileage.

If you didnt know already.... with a 96 you cant use a tuner to correct the speedo for tire size or gearing.... you either need a speedcal or to change out the speedo gear itself...

If you want the 4.10's, get them! Believe it or not, no matter what kind of driving I do, I get better MPG. Driving down the highway going 80mph at 3,000 RPM even doesnt kill it! I'm averaging 20mpg and havent gotten less than 18. Thats filling up at the same gas station on the same exact pump.

EDIT: To the OP, I'd go with SCT since thats what MOST tuners use so if you make any big changes, all they have to do is load a new tune on to your programmer. Predator or SCT will work, but I'd check around and see who uses what in your area and go from there. Wouldnt wanna spend a bunch of money just to have to buy the other if you need a dyno tune.

As stated above you cannot use a programmer to re-adjust your speedometer after a gear swap.

Got Predator used for $175, great deal. I would have a hard time spending $400 on a new one.

4.10's kick ass hands down. I still pulled right around or over 300 mile to a full tank of gas on an interstate trip, with some mountain driving...:nice: 80mph and 3k RPM most of the way.

3.90's if you are unsure. If I were to change my ratio id go to 3.90's, ONLY because I dont like running out of 4th gear at 110mph...

Agreed. Thats the only thing I hate about the 4.10's.

Yeah man. Before I put the 4.10's in I decided to see what the end of 4th gear with 3.27's felt like. If I ever put a turbo on this car those gears will go back in...
