I'm wondering if anyone has successfully separated the lenses from the housing on a 99-04 Cobra. I purchased a spare set of 99,01 Cobra brake lights. I plan on separating the housing to restore the inner housing. I also have a cracked brake light I was experimenting on and the lense became too soft before the glue came remotely close to letting loose. Is it even possible to separate them?

Proally gonna have to use a cutting wheel on a dremmel and "cut" the glue out, it's tough stuff. But that could get ugly quick if you're not really careful. Or mabye just try scoring the glue with a razor blade (repeatedly) and then see if you can seperate the two pieces after most of the glue has been seperated. I dont know of any products that will release the glue without damaging the plastic. Hmmm...
