Headlight / Taillight makeover ( Pics)

Heres some pictures of my car ' its a 93 Lx coupe with a slight makeover.

First i got me some stock headlamps and cleaned them up with some really fine sandpaper and put some clearcoat over them to keep em from going yellow and they did not turn out to bad with the clear corners.

Then i went and got some 86 tails and put em on the rear ' all in all it was a fun filled day.

Looks nice, I got rear ended the other day and my lights got smashed, so I plan on getting Cobra tails also.

The clear coat on the headlights really works, I tried it on my Escort and they never yellowed again. I would still get some crystal clear headlights to better match the corners.

they look good, but the actual head lamp looks more yellow than the outer pieces, are those new?

Not new ' there used ' they were in worse shape ' the ones i had on the car were to much trouble to work so i ended up going to the wreakers and getting some and cleaning them up.

The tail lights look great. The headlights still need to be replaced with new. I did that to my 91 headlights, and while they look good, they don't match the side markers...so I ordered new ones from 50resto.

New lamps and that would look great, I definitely need new lights mine are much worse than those.
