Since I never received my other seats, I'll be getting a refund and have to choose new ones now. Which ones do you guys like? I'll be getting the red harness seat belts. If you guys have any suggestions for seats for $300 a pair, let me know.:nice:

you may want to look at putting another $200+ into your seat budget...I wouldn't want to have to replace seats every two years

I know I know, I read what you posted but the Sparco Torino 2's that I just bought with the belts+brackets are so killer. Yeah they cost a ton but they feel really nice.

I tested a lot of seats out-at first I had my heart set on the Corbeau Cr1's but after sitting in them I quickly changed my mind. I didnt sit in the microsuede, just the other kind and the material sucked balls. It will pill, fade, and wear away much too fast-take it from me my family owns one of the biggest dry cleaners in Ma. and all I work with is (clothing) material.

I sat in a Koing seat that was unfortunatly discontinued but I loved it, I was truly bummed out b/c they sold for like $400 each. So I bit the bullit and got the Sparco's. I guess I dont have regrets though I cant install them until I can get a new carpet to lay down and I cant get the carpet until the seats are paid off.

On the good side I have been sleeping in the passanger seat. I figure since I'll never sit in it I might as well enjoy it since it cost so damn much.

If you cant swing the $1900 and change for the seat combo I would definatly check the Jegs/Summit seats out. They look cool, I just needed something for the autocrossing/com2/dragracing ect that I plan on doing with my car.

Looks like I wont get them in until next summer but by then I'll have done my suspension completely over and my car will finally be cool (except for the faded paint)

Good luck and take the advice you get from people on this site who have aftermarket seats (screw those who dont and are just guessing). If you cheap out their's a good possibility that you will loose out and have to replace the cheapo's much too early. By the time you do that you could have just got a nice set ane be done with it.
PM me with any questions I'd be happy to answer them as I've been through this,

When I do seats I am buying a pair of Corbeau GTS II

They are higher than $300 a pair, but the seats are just as important as the tires... You sit in them every time you drive.

    JOTO!

Thanks guys, I'll look into the summit/jegs seats. I wanted something with red on them but I guess I can contrast the all black seat with red belts.

Fawcett, thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I don't have that kind of dough, I bet they're comfortable tho, for that price they better be. I won't end up buying these seats. I mean $90 a pair!! That's has CHEAP written all over it.

These are the summit ones. Are they TOO RED? I'm not too crazy about the low bolsters either.

Those seats do look good and the bolsters are high enough for my taste.

Urban, did the Corral guy ever update the thread about the Hunsakers? Someone asked him a year later and I'm not sure he replied (I think we chatted about that thread once before. If not, nevermind and carry-on. :salute: ).

The Hunsakers would be my choice too, based on the little I know about that crap. Being bigger, I dont have much chance in sitting in any of these things. :(

i agree about going with an actual company that has a name for themself. you might be paying a little bit more for these but theyll probably last a bit longer too

im not sure about the guy on corral. there was a guy who bought them on here but i dont think he ever posted how their holding up.

there was a guy on darkmesa.com whos friend bought them for his new edge stang and he said they were comfy and look to be made of pretty durable materials

Paul, they look cool but I think they'll feel like I'm sitting on v6 seats. The bolsters are too low. So I'm not sure.

Urban, thanks for the link, but I'm not diggin them too much.

if i get seats i want recaro srds since ive previously owned them, but they are pricey, but an alternative would be http://www.arizenracingsports.com/ seats. i want a pair with the cobra logo embroided. I dont want the cobra r logo tho but tell me thats not awesome, and i think 500 dollars gets you two seats, thats not a bad deal considering my old recaros were the same style seats and more like 600 a piece

They're $400 all black. About $600 for a 2 tone job. They are really nice tho, the arizenracing ones.
