Here's a clip: http://www.bluecappro.com/reedness/vid/videos-exhaustclip.wmv Start-up > Idle > 2000 RPM drone > 4500 RPM Rev I'll tell you what I know. Stock Engine FRPP Shorty Headers (1 5/8" primaries, 2.5" collector) H-Pipe with two cats (pre-cats removed) I've looked under the car for a brand, but I've only seen a number embosed in the mufflers, so I kind of assumed they were some sort of generic brand. I don't really know enough about what the different brands sounds like, so just wondering if any of you guys can identify 'em. Thanks!
They are the flat cylindrical looking things welded or bolted to your exhaust system after the crossover pipe but before the axle housing.
get under there and look at them alot of mufflers will have the part number stamped or printed on them....i looked at mine and wrote the number down and done a google search and found out my muffler type.
They sound kinda like my Dynomax super turbos to me. Hard to tell, best bet is to cross reference numbers or at least post pics if you can.
Super Turbos For sure Not flowmaster of any chamber I suspect My old 89 had 3 chambers and sounded nothing like that
Definitely Dynomax Super Turbos ... or maybe even an FRPP cat-back. Sounds exactly like the DST muffs I took off of my notch a few months back - too quiet and bland for my tastes.
Yeah, I didn't think they were FlowMasters, so Dynomax Super Turbos. I like the sound of them anyway, I don't like 'em too loud. Here's a picture for good measure. I guess I'll have to crawl under and grab that number and check that out. Thanks guys!
Haha, nope, that photo is from when I was doing my 5-lug/gear swap. Yeah, this is what I was originally thinking...
at idle sounded like my buddys borla,, the rev threw me off and pic draws a " ? " i have no idea... sounds alright tho...
cherry bomb ts have one center hole and one offset hole and are alot quieter (i have them on my car) but i think they look like some thrush turbos, but they dont really sound like 'em.
